Check it out in year it be better
I prefer an excavator rake with a thumb for jobs like that. It pulls less dirt and shakes it out better for burning, they also work for stumps.
The first land I cleared by myself was a 2.5 acre parcel with a chainsaw, a used Massey Ferguson 135 farm tractor, and a borrowed Bobcat 742 skid steer loader with tooth bucket that had seen its better days You're doing good, it's just that the learning curve is very gradual for clearing that type of land cover. Out of curiosity, what type of disk are you planning to use to break that ground?
I am a old viewer and it's just painfully slow to watch someone learn how to operate new machines . Don't get me wrong you're doing it much better than I could , but it's just slow and again I would do much worse .
Nice work brother. I bought a 2018 250t open cab and been looking to upgrade to a 270t closed cab and your videos have helped tremendously. 🇺🇸
Wow nice machine how can we get this in Nigeria
I'm surprised that the bamboo is not worth "harvesting " rather than just mulching it?
i think you did a great job
My opinion, which means nothing and has zero value, is that it was much prettier and useful before, but it isn't my property so the owners can do as they please. The first thing I did think of, though, is that now they have to maintain it - rake, weed trim, etc., whereas before, nothing could be seen as unsightly because the trees were so massive they touched the ground and were so thick, nothing could blow between the trees and get stuck - loose trash, paper, take-out Styrofoam crap that finds the most unlikely places to land after traveling on the wind and the wildlife that no longer has a safe place to hide from predators, raise young, or even live. The majority of the concern for me, if this was mine would be dry pine needles - fire hazard - that wasn't there before. Regardless, if the owners like it, great. If they regret it, it is too late now. Can't put it back. Those trees had to be close to 80+ years old.
good for you the customer was not a lawyer. Jurisprudence cases are around 200.000$
He was hired to mulch the trees down . Wasn’t his choice or preference he’s just doing a job . Right wrong or indifferent the property owner can do what they want with their land .
Great Job! Just don't tick off any gophers with that thing like @Digginlife21 did, I don't see how he ever gets any work done with that varment always messing with him. Congrats on the new machine. Keep up the good work and videos.
if people treated other people like they treat their own lawns oh what a wonderful world this would be
🔥🔥🔥 LOOKS LIKE YOU’RE DOING A SOLID PATTERN. I would just recommend pulling 5-6 of those saplings at a time and grab as many as you can before spooning ash the way around.
The most efficient person that I have seen on UA-cam clearing logging cutovers is letsdig18. You don't have to have a bulldozer. You will just need to move relatively smaller piles with your compact track loader and grapple, root rake with the grapple, then bucket for final cleanup of piles too small to move with the grapple.
It looks great; you're doing a great job! It just takes some time for sure! Love your videos and your channel!
Look beautiful after your done. Remember ! The most valuable $$ land around you is your neighbors property if there a pain in your ass !
What a shame now ruined
Worst thing you could have done. Now any wildlife living in the creek will overheat, water will turn green with algae and kill fish and other organisms in the water from getting too hot and lack of oxygen. Not to mention the way it looks now. No privacy between homes.
USA is a state of mind... so much land with perfect flat lawn instead of grassland. This is wrong ad so many levels, I don't know where to start explaining.
I’ve had the same situation , my neighbors cleared to the property line and the got mad when I did, he said they lost their privacy? I asked why didn’t they leave trees on their own land,
Awful music...
What a disaster ... what's the point destroying an healthy edge?
The birds must be pissed you destroyed there home !! 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦
Great video, thanks for sharing. I enjoy your channel, your format works well. Don't change it, its unique.
Dear neighbors! You may also be wondering why our beautiful old hedge disappeared overnight. It was a breeding ground for many birds, a shelter for hedgehogs, a source of food for many bees and, last but not least, protection for us from the noise and dirt of the streets. Unfortunately, a resident was of the opinion that the hedge protruded too far onto the footpath and reported us to the city. All of this alone isn't nice, but the fact that we lacked the courage to speak to ourselves is even sadder! The hedgeless residents of the blue house
Read description next time before posting.
Was the property line even staked before doing this work.. Seems like a good way to get sued.Your lucky your not in court.. To do thus job before speaking and clearing with the other property owner was crazy.. Always need a land surveyor to mark a property line. .
You obviously didn’t read description.
Personally I think it was very ignorant of the property owner to bring you in on such a substantial job without at least informing the neighbour what was going to be happening, even if they were only on the property owners land. If you were in Ireland, and came in without planning permission from the local authority, you would be in serious trouble. Here the property owner can't just cut down tree's whenever they feel like it.
What's that machine called?
I think people should mind there own business.
Nice equipment..
Looks so much better when it's finished
Sometimes invasive plants roll in. If you dont take care of them, they will kill the native plants/trees, ect..
At 7:44 those were beautiful trees why they cut them?
do you spray w some kudzu killer herbicides or anything afterwards? all those bits I'd guess will just re root wont they??
Wow! That looks horrible afterwards! You seem proud of destroying what was a beautiful looking area. So sad.
12:44 this could get nasty: When I see it correctly: Machine still turning and slowly lowering to the ground. Potentially shooting rocks and other stuff at you... stay safe!
I would be mad too. You probably cut part of his greenery down. The property line might have ran right in the middle of all that greenery. I guess there was no consulting the neighbor prior to this clearing. Sometimes you just gotta say to your client, are you sure about this and point out the pros and cons. It’s not that you’re going to lose the job, it’s about how it’s going to look after you get done doing the job and the possibilities of who’s going to be upset about it. Especially if the neighbors are not going be consulted first. And now it doesn’t look good and it’s got your name all over it. So it could affect future jobs possibly. Yes, you did what you were asked by the client.
Impressive machine!
this should be illegal, and why don't they plant trees on this dead life land? is it an airport???
Why do you guys not see what vandals you are. Totally destroying a home for wildlife to create a desert.
What a great job you did. That machine is a Beast!!
hi from alabama👍👍
Nicely done,
All trees and hedges do need regular maintenance by cleaning out the low branches ! Vegitation needs to be kept in check ,especially this Machine being well suited . The cost must be well below manual chopping at present rates 👍
Riparian buffer is important to creek health. The woody species roots system protects the banks from eroding. You can't treat it like a lawn.
Bring in some goats
He liked it after he looked.
Great job .hard work, but need to know reason a natural boundary had to go
How awful to do that
